Overview
The difference between venting pipes and air pipes
Venting pipes are used as ventilation ducts for air entering and leaving the cabin, which are used for ventilation including engine room, cargo hold, pump room, battery room, CO2 room and closed space frequented by personnel, etc., which can ensure the normal operation of machinery and equipment such as main and auxiliary engines, kitchen stoves, normal breathing of personnel and ventilation of goods in the cargo hold.
The air pipes refer to the upper part of the ballast tank, the isolation empty tank, the oil tank and other liquid tanks, and extend to the open deck, which can ensure the smooth entry and exit of the gas in the tank when the liquid is injected or discharged, and maintain the isobaric effect with the external atmosphere.
