Different Connection Structures of Anchor Chains

Different Connection Structures of Anchor Chains

There are two main ways of connecting anchor chains:Kenter shackle and joing shackle. 90% of the intermediate links are connected by kenter shacklesIf D-type joining shackle is used instead of Kenter shackle, end link and enlarged link should be added before and after the D-type joining shackle, and then connected with common link. Since the size of the D-type joining shackle is much larger than the common chain link, after adding the end link and enlarging link, the size of the anchor chain can be smoothly transitioned there, avoiding the size of the D-type joining shackle. A type joining shackle that passes through the sprocket when lifting the anchor. Produce jumps, shocks or disturbances. The arc part of the D-type joining shackle should all face the anchor (also to avoid jumping, impact or jamming when the D-type joining shackle passes through the sprocket when lifting the anchor).
