Diesel Fuel Flow Meter

Diesel Fuel Flow Meter

Diesel fuel flow Meter is widely used in petroleum, organic liquids, inorganic liquids, liquefied gas, natural gas, gas and cryogenic fluids. In the liquefied petroleum gas, refined oil products and light crude oil, such as the transfer and gathering station, the first and last station of the large crude oil pipeline are a large number of it for trade settlement.Diesel fuel flow Meter should be fully liquid in the meter when in use, the measured liquid should not be mixed with gas, or lead to the measurement of inaccuracy. If the liquid is mixed with gas, it is necessary to install a gas separator in front of the meter.

Overview

Suggestions:

The starting flow rate of the Diesel fuel flow meter is approximately 2% of the maximum flow rate, and the normal operating flow rate is preferably 70-80% of the maximum flow rate. If the flow rate exceeds the specified maximum flow rate, it will aggravate the wear and pressure loss; when the flow rate is lower than the minimum flow rate, although it can still be measured, but the error increases.

The measured liquid temperature should not be higher than the specified value, otherwise the meter can not work properly. Liquid temperature changes can also cause viscosity effects of the additional error.

If the meter is used again after stopping use, it needs to be heated with steam or other methods on the outside of the meter body to reduce the viscosity of the liquid, and can only be used after the viscosity of the liquid in the meter is lowered to prevent the viscous liquid from biting the transmission parts, resulting in damage to the meter.

In the course of use, should also regularly check the filter mesh is intact, as well as clean the filter mesh, and record the pressure loss under the common flow rate, in order to determine whether it needs to be cleaned. In addition, for high-viscosity liquids, generally need to be heated to make it flow, and then activated must first be heated to reduce the viscosity of the liquid before allowing the liquid to flow through the instrument.
