Precautions for replacing the air vent head
1. Need to be visually identified, need to replace the air vent head for the upper cabin, oil tank or water tank or ballast tank and other empty tanks: water tank and oil tank air vent head style is similar, but the two sides of the protective cover is different: water tank air vent head on both sides of the side cover mouth need not be closed, and built-in insect screen; The upper mouth of the side cover on both sides of the air vent head of the oil tank shall be closed, and a fire frame screen shall be built in.
2. After determining the style and installation position, we need to verify the dimensions of the connecting flange, including the outer diameter of the flange, the diameter of the center circle of the flange (center distance), the number of bolt holes and the diameter. If it is impossible to measure or the existing air vent head is very corroded, we can also choose to match each air vent head with a butt welded flange.
