Hisa Marine's ceramic tile-specific rock wool backing board is a high-performance composite substrate developed to solve industry problems such as insulation, hollowing, and cracking in ceramic tile cladding systems. This product uses high-density hydrophobic rock wool as its core, and through a unique interface reinforcement treatment, forms a rigid substrate that combines excellent thermal insulation performance with ultra-high surface strength. It is specifically designed for harsh environments such as interior and exterior walls and ceilings where ceramic tiles need to be installed, achieving integrated decoration, insulation, and safety.

1. A Robust Substrate That Never Delaminates

Innovative Interface Technology: The board surface undergoes a patented inorganic coating treatment, forming a uniformly rough interface. The bonding strength with tile adhesive is more than 1.5 times that of ordinary cement substrates, fundamentally eliminating the risk of tile delamination and detachment.

Ultra-High Compressive Strength: The core rock wool, with vertically oriented fibers and high-pressure curing, boasts a compressive strength ≥80kPa and a tensile strength ≥15kPa, ensuring safe installation of heavy-duty tiles and long-term system stability.

2. An Active Waterproof Safety Barrier

Water-Repellent Rock Wool Core Material: Utilizing rock wool with a ≥99% water repellency rate and a volumetric moisture absorption rate <0.3%, it isolates liquid water and moisture, protecting the wall structure from damage.

Integrated Moisture-Proof Layer: The board surface is pre-composite with a high-strength moisture-proof and breathable membrane, forming a one-way breathing barrier that effectively wicks away internal moisture, preventing condensation buildup and damage to the insulation layer.

A1 Grade Fire Resistance: Core materials meet the national standard GB 8624 A1 grade and the European standard EN 13501-1 A1 grade non-combustible standard, with a fire resistance limit of up to 2 hours, providing top-level passive fire protection for buildings.

Stable and Efficient Thermal Insulation: With a thermal conductivity as low as 0.036 W/(m·K), the thermal resistance value remains stable and does not decrease, significantly improving building energy efficiency and meeting near-zero energy building standards.

Zero-Formaldehyde Environmental Certification: Certified by the French A+ grade indoor air quality certification and the three-star green building materials certification, it is non-toxic and odorless, ensuring a healthy indoor environment.

Dry Installation System: The lightweight panels (surface density <20kg/㎡) can be directly fixed to steel structures or concrete substrates. Standard size (1200mm x 600mm) allows for easy cutting, increasing construction efficiency by 50% compared to traditional wet methods.
