700m³ UV Ballast Water Management
Our BWMS adopts a combination treatment technology of filtration and UV disinfection. Filtration system works before the UV system to remove particulate matter (PM) and the planton larger than 50um. After that, the filtered ballast water flows into UV reactor. The UV light is an efficient broad-spectrum bactericide and could kill almost all the bacteria and viruses effectively.
The BWMS provides GPS signal access, which could record the vessel location and operation time/data effectively and store the record in the memory card of control system.
The BWMS keeps on monitoring the operation of ballast system. The data on system operation and failure could be stored in the system memory card for 2 years. The recorded data could be searched on the screen and downloaded through the data interface.

System Composition
The BWMS is composed of filtration unit, UV disinfection unit (include UV power cupboard) and integrated control system.
The filtration unit comprises one or more negative pressure filters in parallel to remove the particles and plankton larger than 50um from the ballast water. Integrated control system comprises a control system box, a remote control system box and a series of transmitters and actuators.
