Zinc Anode

Zinc Anode

Zinc anodes are suitable for use in marine and wet environments, or where equipment comes into contact with water, soil and other chemicals. These environments corrode metal materials, and zinc anodes work by forming a protective layer that reduces the corrosion of the metal. Zinc anodes can be used on a variety of equipment such as oil well casing, pipelines, bridges and ships.

Overview

Typical applications

Ships and marine engineering: ship hulls, propeller shafts, offshore platforms, etc.

Underground and underwater pipelines: natural gas pipelines, oil pipelines, etc.

Tanks and tanks: oil storage tanks, ship tanks, etc.

Other structures: bridges, wharves, concrete reinforcement, etc.

Weight deviation

The permissible gross weight deviation of each piece of zinc anode is ±3%, and the permissible gross weight deviation of each metre of strip zinc anode is ±5%, and the total weight of each batch of zinc anode should not have negative deviation.

Dimensional deviation

The permissible deviation of each piece of zinc anode (except strip) shall be ±2% in length, ±3% in width, ±5% in thickness, and the straightness shall not be more than 2%.

The permissible deviation of cross-section size of strip zinc anode is ±1mm, the permissible deviation of diameter of steel core is ±4%, the deviation of concentricity of steel core is not more than 2mm, and the total length of each roll of strip zinc anode should not have negative deviation.
