Zinc Alloy Sacrificial Anode for Liquid Tank
Zinc alloy anode for liquid tanks is a sacrificial anode specially designed for corrosion prevention in ships' liquid tanks. Tanks usually contain seawater, crude oil, fuel oil or other chemicals, and the electrochemical properties of these liquids can lead to corrosion of the structural metals of the tanks. The zinc anode protects the metal bulkheads and associated structures from corrosion by preferentially corroding itself.
Overview
Application Scenario
Seawater ballast tanks: liquid tanks filled with seawater when the ship is balanced.
Bunker oil tanks: liquid tanks filled with bunker oil.
Cargo oil tanks: tanks for crude oil or refined oil.
Sewage tanks: tanks for handling ship's sewage.
Chemical tanks: tanks for storing chemicals.
