Fire dampers as well as smoke dampers are installed on ships. The structure of the two is the same, can be in 70 ± 3 ℃ can automatically close the air lock, SOLAS on the fire dampers and smoke dampers explained
Overview
Fire damper is a device installed on a ventilating duct that remains open under normal conditions to allow airflow into the duct, and closes in case of fire to prevent airflow from entering, thus limiting the spread of fire.
Smoke damper means a device installed on a ventilating duct that remains open to allow airflow into the duct under normal conditions and closes to prevent airflow into the duct in the event of a fire, thereby limiting the spread of smoke and hot gases. Smoke dampers do not ensure the integrity of the fire-resistive separation through which the ventilating duct passes.
