Marine Pressure reducing valves mainly control the fixed outlet pressure of the main valve, the main valve outlet pressure does not change due to changes in inlet pressure, and does not change its outlet pressure due to changes in the main valve outlet flow. It is suitable for industrial water supply, fire-fighting water supply and domestic water pipe network system.

Working Principle:

Marine Pressure reducing valve is to rely on the valve flow path to the water flow of the local resistance to reduce water pressure, the range of water pressure drop by connecting the valve flap membrane or piston on both sides of the inlet and outlet of the water pressure difference is automatically adjusted. Fixed ratio pressure reduction principle is the use of the valve body in the floating piston water pressure ratio control, the import and export end of the pressure reduction ratio and the import and export side of the piston area ratio is inversely proportional.

This pressure reducing valve works smoothly without vibration; no spring in the valve body, so there is no spring corrosion, metal fatigue failure; good sealing performance without leakage, thus reducing both the dynamic pressure (water flow) and static pressure (flow rate of 0); especially in the reduction of pressure at the same time does not affect the water flow.

Main Structure:

Marine Pressure reducing valves can be divided into membrane type, spring membrane type, piston type, lever type and bellows type according to the structural form; according to the number of seats can be man-made single-seat and double-seat type; according to the position of the valve valve flap can be divided into positive-acting and negative-acting type.

 When the output pressure of the marine pressure reducing valve is high or the through diameter is large, with the regulator spring directly regulating the pressure, then the spring stiffness is bound to be too large, the flow changes, the output pressure fluctuation is large, the valve structure size will also increase.
