Working Principle
Plug valve is a kind of valve that uses spool rotation to realize the opening and closing functions. It mainly consists of a plug body (which can be cylindrical or conical) with a through hole, and this plug body is connected to the valve stem in the center of the valve body. When the stem rotates, the plug will also rotate with it, so that the passage port on the plug and the passage port on the valve body can be connected or separated, thus achieving the purpose of opening and closing.

Plug valve is a common pipeline control valve, mainly composed of valve body, plug body, gasket, valve stem, handwheel, etc.
The valve body of the plug valve is generally cylindrical, which is generally divided into two types: through type and Angle type. The inlet and outlet of the straight type plug valve are on the same axis, while the inlet and outlet of the Angle type plug valve are at a 90 degree Angle.
The plug body of the plug valve is conical or spherical and can be rotated 90 degrees to achieve switch control.
