What is a Marine Diffuser?

An air diffuser is a device that sends the air from the air conditioner inside the cabin to make it mix evenly with the indoor air. According to the different structure of the air diffuser has a horn type, turn the ball type, thin hole type and louvered box type, etc.; according to its installation position in the room can be divided into different top and wall type; according to its performance can be divided into direct distribution and induction type.

Overview

Introduction:

Straight type air diffuser is a kind of air distributor which sends the air directly into the cabin, and its outlet is made in the shape of flow diffusion, such as trumpet shape and grille shape. Straight type wind turbine outlet wind speed is low, generally 2 ~ 4m / s, air and indoor air mixing is slow, so the temperature difference between the air should not be too large, generally below 10 . This kind of diffuser air supply resistance is small, most of them are only tens of Pa, noise is also low. Straight air diffuser is generally equipped with a damping door, when the end of the heat exchanger is installed, there is also a temperature knob.

Induced air diffuser is characterized by high static pressure in the static pressure box 10, the primary wind is sprayed through 26~46 small nozzles 9, the nozzle air velocity is high, generally up to 20~40m/s, which results in a local vacuum in the inducer, and thus a large portion of the indoor air (secondary wind) is induced by the inlet grille into the inducer, the primary and secondary winds are blended from the top of the outlet grille blowing out, and sent indoors. The primary and secondary air is mixed and blown out from the top exit grille and sent into the room.
