Welded Pipe Caps
Welded pipe caps usually have a round or square appearance and consist of two main parts: the cap body and the cap. Among them, the cap body is the part welded on the pipe, while the cap is the part worn on the cap body.
The material of welded pipe cap usually adopts carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and other materials, and the surface treatment can be sandblasting, spraying, plating and other processes to ensure the chemical properties and appearance quality of welded pipe cap.

Type:
1. Welded pipe caps can be categorized into straight pipe caps and elbow caps according to their scope of application. Straight pipe cap is commonly used in the end of the pipe closure, while the elbow cap is commonly used in the pipe elbow.
2. Welded pipe cap hat type is divided into round head cap, cyclone cap and spherical cap and so on several kinds. Different types of caps have different application scenarios, in which the round head cap is usually used for straight pipe, cyclone cap is commonly used to strengthen the performance of the pipeline fluid flow, spherical cap is more often used in the sewage industry.
3. Welded pipe caps are divided into several welding methods such as full fillet welding, short fillet welding and external seal welding. Among them, full fillet welding is a comprehensive fillet welding of the cap body and the cap, which has the advantages of strong pressure resistance and easy installation; while short fillet welding is only a part of the cap and the cap body are welded, which has better sealing performance, and the external sealing weld is to add a sealing ring between the cap and the cap body to increase the reliability of the seal.
