Wave Shape Rubber Air Duct Compensator
Wave Shape rubber air duct compensator is a kind of compensator used in duct system to connect fans, ducts and other air ducts, mainly absorbing and relieving the displacement and deformation caused by fan operation, temperature change, pipe vibration and other factors.
Overview
Installation matters
Inspection and preparation: Before installation, it is necessary to check the model, specification and pipeline configuration of the compensator to ensure that it meets the design requirements.
Natural state installation: try to let the rubber compensator in a natural state, avoid artificial deformation.
Installation location selection: install the compensator in the curve or deformation of the piping system to maximize its compensating effect.
Support bracket installation: there is a support bracket in the middle of the joint, which should be kept not off before installation, and all of them will be knocked off after the bolts are tightened.
Bolt tightening: the bolt rod should be extended to the outside of the flange to prevent the thread tip from abrading the rubber compound of the joint during expansion and deformation.
Commissioning and testing: after the installation is completed, check whether the compensator is well centered with the pipeline, and the flange or joint is firmly connected without obvious distortion or deformation.
