Type E Marine Mushroom Vent Head

Type E Marine Mushroom Vent Head is an outfitting component necessary for cabin ventilation and should be of sufficient height and structural strength as it opens onto all decks. Ventilation cylinders on open parts of the dry deck should be provided with storm covers, and those on other decks should be provided with rainproof canvas covers.

Ventilation should be cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis by rinsing them with pure water and then disinfecting them with a chlorine-containing disinfectant (about 5% concentration).

The service life of mushroom-type ventilation is generally about 10 years (the exact time varies according to the quality of the material, the environment in which it is used, the maintenance measures taken, etc.), and they should be replaced in a timely manner if any obvious deterioration or damage is found.
