Technical Requirements for Ship Upgrading or Launching Replying on Airbag
Upgrading and launching of ship airbags should be operated by personnel who have received technical training and mastered relevant skills. Ship moving operation shall be controlled by winch and steel wire rope. The winch should be maintained regularly, and the wire rope should be inspected regularly and replaced regularly according to relevant regulations. During the whole process of ship loading, unloading and launching, a police zone should be set up to prevent accidents such as wire rope breakage or airbag blasting and ejection.
Overview
Technical Requirement:
1. Upgrading Ship
a. All the cargo on board should be unloaded before the ship goes ashore, and the ballast water should be controlled to meet the requirements of the ship that is going ashore.
b. Ships with thick marine organisms attached to the underwater part of the hull should take airbag protection measures (such as covering the airbag with straw bags) to prevent the shell of marine organisms from puncturing the airbag.
2.Launching Ship:
a. Before the ship is launched, the equipment, valves, etc. installed below the waterline should be installed, all underwater projects completed, and passed the inspection.
b. Burrs, welding burrs, etc. on the bottom plate and all accessories should be smoothed and passed the inspection.
c. The tightness test of the hull plating and the compartments below the waterline has been completed and passed the inspection; movable devices and objects throughout the ship should be fixed; the mooring devices with cables have been installed.
d. The ship's main dimensions have been measured, and the load waterline mark and water gauge have passed the inspection.
e. The hull outer plate painting is completed.
3.Ramp
a. the ramp surface should be clean and free of sharp and hard objects such as nails.
b. the gradient and length of the ramp shall be determined according to the ship type, hydrological conditions in the launching waters of the ship and other factors.
c. the bearing capacity of the ramp shall be more than twice the working pressure of the airbag.
d. the part of the ramp near the water surface should be conducive to the arrangement of pre-arranged airbags before the ramp, and the shape and geometric parameters of the ramp should meet the needs of launching the ship in the future.
e. The launching ramp consists of a main ramp including the slipway and an auxiliary ramp extending into the water. The gradient of the main ramp should enable the ship to automatically slide down after being released from traction. The gradient and length of the auxiliary ramp should be determined according to the ship's category, water level when the ship is launched, airbag diameter and other factors, and meet the safety requirements for launching the ship's airbag.
4.Airbag
a. airbags shall meet the requirements of CB/T3795 and have quality certificates.
b. high-strength air bags should be used for loading, discharging and launching ships with DWT above 5000t, and the bearing capacity per unit length should be not less than 200 kn/m.
c. Before each use, the airbag shall be subjected to no-load inflation test. The inflation pressure shall be 1.25 times of the working pressure of the airbag, and the holding time shall be no less than 1h.
