Square Composite Rock Wool Ceiling Panel
The Square Composite Rock Wool Ceiling Panel is a pre-fabricated, modular ceiling tile designed specifically for the cabin and corridor ceilings of ships and offshore units. Its square format allows for standardized, grid-based installation, facilitating easy access for maintenance and replacement of individual tiles. The panel combines a non-combustible rock wool core with a durable facing material, providing integrated fire protection, acoustic absorption, and a finished aesthetic.
Overview
Compliance & Type Approval Process
To ensure compliance with stringent marine safety codes, our ceiling tiles undergo rigorous fire resistance testing at accredited Fire Test Centers. Upon successful testing, they receive type approval from major classification societies (such as ABS, DNV, LR). This pre-certification process guarantees that the products delivered to the shipyard meet the required fire rating (e.g., B-0, B-15) for your project, streamlining the installation and inspection phases.
Installation
The installation of wall and ceiling equipment shall not reduce the original steel and strength of the composite rock wool panels, and shall not jeopardize the integrity of the grade of fire separation required by the original design of the fire-resistant compartment system.
Composite rock wool board factory technical requirements according to the manufacturer's technical parameters. The same color card number of composite rock wool board can not have color difference defects. The upper and lower boards of the fire door frame are the same width of the door frame, and there shall be no stitching. The ceiling seam line should be in the same straight line. Composite rock wool boards of rock wool boards, ceiling corners, top profiles (except for stairways) can not have exposed screws.
The wall plate of composite rock wool board and the plugging plate of the ceiling should not be less than 150 mm. After installation, the independent enclosure wall plate of composite rock wool board and the structural connection part of the fire door frame should have sufficient strength.
