Seal Type Pressure Transmitter

Seal Type Pressure Transmitter

Seal Type Pressure Transmitters are designed for applications where the process fluid being measured must not come into direct contact with the sensor element or other parts of the transmitter. These types of transmitters are often used in harsh environments where the process fluid could be corrosive, viscous, or at extreme temperatures.

Overview

Main Technical Specifications

Pressure Ranges: Typically from vacuum to high pressure, e.g., 0-0.6 MPa to 0-60 MPa (or equivalent in other units like psi or bar).

Accuracy: Commonly ±0.1% to ±0.5% of full scale, depending on the model and manufacturer.

Output Signal: 4-20 mA, HART, Modbus, PROFIBUS, or other digital communication protocols.

Process Connection: Flange, threaded, or sanitary connections depending on the application.

Diaphragm Material: Stainless steel, Hastelloy, Tantalum, or other materials based on the compatibility with the process media.

Fill Fluid: Silicone oil, glycerin, or other suitable fluids based on temperature and media compatibility.

Temperature Range: Ambient: -40°C to +85°C (-40°F to +185°F)

Process: Typically -40°C to +150°C (-40°F to +302°F), but can vary.

Overpressure Limit: Typically 1.5 to 3 times the upper range limit.

Ingress Protection: IP65, IP66, or higher depending on the model and application.
