Pneumatic Hoist
A pneumatic hoist is a lifting device powered by compressed air, utilizing pneumatic energy to lift and move heavy loads. This type of hoist is commonly employed in industrial settings where electricity may not be suitable or is not readily available. Compressed air is supplied to the hoist, causing the air motor to generate power and drive the lifting mechanism. Pneumatic hoists are often used in applications such as manufacturing, construction, and shipyards.
Overview
Advantages
Precise load control
Ease of operation
Resistance to harsh conditions
Types
Fixed pneumatic chain hoist
Pneumatic air chain hoist with trolley
Low headroom pneumatic hoist
Principle
The pressure of compressed air can be transformed into mechanical energy through pneumatic motor, thus the output torque will drive the planetary reducer. Then the pneumatic controller will control the rotation of slewing gear to lift the load.
