Pipe gaskets can be widely used in a variety of pipeline connections, play a role in compensating for inconsistencies in pipeline connections, vibration and noise reduction, sealing and so on. Different occasions and materials of pipe gaskets are chosen differently to achieve the best results.
Overview
Type:
1. Metal gaskets: gaskets made of different kinds of steel, aluminum and other metal materials. Metal gasket is divided into flat type and flange type two kinds, widely used in high pressure, high temperature and strong corrosive environment in the pipeline system.
2. Non-metallic gaskets: elastic sealing gaskets made of rubber, plastic, polyurethane and other materials. Applicable to low temperature, low pressure and general corrosive environment in the piping system. Among them, silicone rubber gasket can withstand higher temperatures and stronger corrosive effects.
3. Composite gasket: material compounded from metallic and non-metallic gaskets. Composite gaskets have the strength and rigidity of metal gaskets and the sealing and elasticity of non-metallic gaskets, and have excellent durability in high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environments.
