Open Swage Socket S-501

The S-501 is recommended for use with 6x19 or 6x37,IPS or XIP(EIP), XXIP(EEIP), RRL, FC or IWRC core wire rope.

According to ANSI B30.9, all wire rope sling that uses a pressed sockect is required to be tensile tested.

Prior to the use of National brand lifting fittings with wire rope connections of any lay, structure or strength grade, it is recommended to conduct destructive tests and provide complete product conformity documentation.

Forged from high-quality carbon steel rods, suitable for cold die forging.

According to the strength of the wire rope to select the appropriate pressed open swage socket, the open swage socket efficiency of 100%.

Spheroidizing annealing to control hardness.

No cracks will occur when the marking is added after the pressing is complete.

The size of the end of the pressed socket is slightly smaller than the upper part, equal to the size of the pressed socket. Before pressing, the size difference between the two parts is obvious, after pressing is completed, the size of them are the same, and it is permanent, and can be checked by QUIC-CHECK or visual inspection. This design can help to determine the success of pressing quickly, and also facilitate the inspection of outdoor work. However, this does not preclude the need for standard tests, such as measuring the size or tension after pressing.
