The NS2589 Bulwark Mounted Mooring Chock is a marine device used to secure ship mooring lines. Guide pulleys according to this standard have been approved by the Panama Canal Commission (PCC) for nominal size 300 x 250mm is specified in the PCC as a single chock and should be able to withstand 445 kN on the pull line. Nominal size 400 x 250mm is specified in the PCC as a double chock and should be able to withstand 625 kN on the pull line.
