Mushroom Ventilation Head

The Mushroom Ventilation Head is a widely used exhaust device in ships that is typically used to exhaust damp odors and exhaust gases from the interior. This uniquely designed vent attracts airflow to expel the exhaust gases to the outside. Because the bottom of the ventilation is designed to create a negative pressure as the air flows through the ventilator, it creates a true extraction and exhaust effect.

Standardization Requirements：

The size and shape of the mushroom ventilation should be in accordance with the relevant national regulations and industry standards, and should generally be designed and selected according to the actual situation of the site. Generally speaking, the site of the smaller equipment should be selected 100mm diameter mushrrom ventilation, while the larger equipment or need to ventilate more areas of the site should be selected 150mm or 200mm mushroom ventilation head.

Mushroom ventilation head materials should be in line with relevant national standards, the material requirements of corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, mildew, bacteria and other characteristics, and should minimize the dead corners and gaps, to facilitate regular cleaning and disinfection.

Mushroom ventilation head installation location should take into account the ventilation effect and the impact on the sterility of the product. It is required that the mushroom ventilation head must be installed on the top, or the top near the corner, and ensure that the vent corresponding to the space of unidirectional flow to ensure positive pressure. If there are multiple vents, they must be installed in a balanced manner to ensure that the ventilation effect is balanced.

Mushroom ventilation head need to be cleaned and sanitized before and after use. Cleaning should be done by first removing the vent cover and cleaning with neutral detergent and water heating, acidic, alkaline or toxic and harmful cleaning agents shall not be used. Disinfection can be carried out by external application of drugs, ultrasonic disinfector and other means of disinfection, and toxic and harmful disinfectants shall not be used.
