     Marine vortex pump, also known as a vortex pump, is a vane pump.




Overview

Working principle

The main working parts of the vortex pump include impeller, pump body and pump cover. The impeller is a disc with many small blades on the outer edge, and a ring flow channel is formed between the pump body and the impeller. The liquid enters the flow channel through the suction tube, and with the rotation of the impeller, the liquid generates a vortex movement between the blade and the flow channel, so as to obtain energy and be transported to the discharge tube.

Structural characteristics

The impeller of the vortex pump is different from the impeller of the centrifugal pump, and its outer edge is equipped with radial blades. An annular flow channel is formed between the pump body and the impeller, and the inlet and outlet are located at the outer circumference of the impeller. When the impeller rotates, the liquid generates a vortex motion under the action of centrifugal force, and obtains energy by entering the blade several times, and finally discharged from the exhaust outlet.

Application

The vortex pump is suitable for small flow (1 ~ 40 cubic meters/hour) and high lift (up to 250 meters). Because of its high head characteristics, vortex pumps are often used in petroleum, chemical, chemical fiber, medicine, fertilizer and small boiler water supply fields. In addition, whirlpool pumps can also transport liquids that are highly volatile and contain gases, but are not suitable for liquids with large viscosity or solid particles.

Plastic material: Plastic material whirlpool pump is suitable for conveying acid, alkali, salt and other weakly corrosive liquids, with corrosion resistance, light weight, not easy to rust and so on.

Stainless steel: stainless steel whirlpool pump is suitable for conveying acid, alkali, salt and other corrosive liquids, with better corrosion resistance and long service life.
