Marine Ventilation Pipe

Marine Ventilation Pipe

Marine ventilation pipe can help ships to realize ventilation and air circulation, maintain good air quality, and ensure that the crew can work and live on board healthily and comfortably. Because without good ventilation and air circulation during a long voyage, the humidity inside the ship will rise and the carbon dioxide content in the air will increase, which will not only affect the health of the crew but also accelerate the aging of the ship's equipment.

Overview

Standard:

The material of the marine air duct needs to have certain strength and corrosion resistance, generally using stainless steel, aluminum alloy and other metal materials or composite materials such as glass fiber reinforced plastic. According to the standard requirements, the minimum thickness of the air duct using metal materials should be not less than 1mm, and the wall thickness of the air duct using composite materials is usually about 3mm.

The size standard of marine air duct is usually designed according to the specifications used by the ship, and is usually divided into two forms: straight pipe and elbow. The length and diameter of the straight pipe is usually below 3 meters, and the bending angle of the elbow is usually below 90 degrees. The interior of the duct should be smooth and unobstructed, and there should be no sharp corners, corners and other chocks, beams and other parts.

The installation of marine air ducts needs to be designed according to the actual situation of the ship, including the arrangement of air duct channels, fixing and connection with air conditioning units. In the installation process, attention needs to be paid to the cleanliness and anti-corrosion treatment of the ducts to avoid the occurrence of dust accumulation and air leakage and to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the whole ventilation system.
