Marine Tee
The Marine Tee is primarily used to connect three pipelines with branch connections, merge connections, pipe steering, pipe expansion, flow control, system integration, equipment protection and space saving features. The pressure and flow rate in a piping system is tested by adjusting the valve opening. The smaller the valve opening, the slower the water flow rate, preventing damage to the piping system due to excessive water flow rates. At the same time, the test can also play the role of shunt regulation and flow control to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the piping system.
Overview
Purpose:
1. Ship Drainage Pipe Test: In the process of ship construction and maintenance, it is necessary to test whether the pressure and flow rate in the ship's drainage pipe system operate normally to ensure smooth drainage.
2. Ship fire-fighting pipeline test: the fire-fighting equipment on the ship is an important equipment to protect the safety of the crew, and it is especially important to test the pressure and flow of the pipeline system.
3.Other piping system testing: such as water supply, oil and water, sewage and other piping system testing on the ship.
Notation:
The marine tee fittings should be checked for problems before installation, and should be replaced in time if damaged or otherwise.
The tee fitting should be installed in a location that is easy to operate and maintain, and ensure that it is properly connected to nearby piping.
The bolts of the tee fitting must be tightened correctly during installation to avoid unsafe factors such as loosening or leakage.
