Marine Safety Valve

Marine safety valve is a special branch of the valve, it is special because unlike other valves only play the role of the switch, but more importantly, to protect the safety of the equipment. When the pressure in the equipment or pipeline exceeds the set pressure of the safety valve, it will automatically open to relieve the pressure, to ensure that the equipment and pipeline medium pressure under the set pressure, to protect the equipment and pipeline normal work, prevent accidents and reduce losses. Safety valve is an important safety accessory for boilers, pressure vessels and other pressure-bearing equipment. In view of the need for equipment pressure relief, safety valves play a vital role in the process of protecting equipment.

Note:

1、The safety valve should have a device to prevent the weight from moving by itself and a guide frame to restrict the lever from crossing the track, and the spring-loaded safety valve should have a lifting handle and a device to prevent the adjustment screw from being twisted casually.

2、It should be installed vertically in the highest position of the potter or collector. Between the safety valve and the pot merchant or the collection box, there shall be no outlet pipe and valve for taking steam.

3. The cross-sectional area of the pipe connecting the safety valve with the boiler shall be not less than the inlet cross-sectional area of the safety valve. If several safety valves are installed together in a short tube directly connected to the cylinder, the short pipe access cross-sectional area should not be less than 1.25 times the area of all the safety valves exhaust steam.
