Marine Polyester Fiber Rope


1. Low elongation, High rigidity: Different from the nylon rope with high elasticity, the polyester rope has relatively low elongation at break (which means that it has less deformation when stressed, and can provide more accurate and stable ship control. Under the same load, its static stiffness is usually higher than that of nylon ropes.

2. High Strength and Fatigue Resistance: Polyester fiber has excellent strength and fatigue resistance, and is especially suitable for bearing long-term and cyclic loads. Compared with nylon, it has better fatigue resistance and creep fracture resistance in seawater environment.

3. Excellent Weatherability: Polyester ropes has excellent ultraviolet resistance and strong tolerance to seawater, most chemicals and oils.

4. Stable Performance in Wet Environment: Different from the characteristics of nylon rope that its strength decreases when it meets water, polyester rope can maintain almost all its strength in wet state, and its performance is not affected by seawater.

5. Good Wear Resistance: The rope body is firm in structure and has good wear resistance, and it can still maintain stable performance after long-term use.

Overview

Polyester rope is made from high-quality polyester fiber, which is a continuous multifilament low stretch yarn that is twisted twice. Therefore, it has the best UV resistance among various chemical and natural fiber ropes, thus extending its service life, while still retaining the characteristics of flexibility and easy handling. Recommended for rigging, marine mooring, offshore fishing, deep and shallow sea farming and sailing boats. Regular color is white, available in lengths of 200 meters or 220 meters per roll, other lengths and colors available on special order.

Main Application Scenarios:
1. Permanent and long-term mooring: it is the first choice for deepwater mooring systems such as floating production oil storage and unloading devices, deepwater oil and gas platforms and floating offshore wind power platforms.
