Marine Hydraulic Anchor Windlass
Marine hydraulic Anchor Windlass is a device installed on a ship consisting of chain wheel, used for lifting and releasing anchors. The hydraulic Windlass is driven by the electric motor to drive the hydraulic pump, and the generated oil pressure drives the oil motor, and then the windlass is operated through the reducer (or without the reducer). the hydraulic windlass has the advantages of compact size, light weight, stable operation, and can realize stepless speed regulation and automatically prevent overload.
Overview
Marine hydraulic Anchor Windlass is a device installed on a ship consisting of chain wheel, used for lifting and releasing anchors. The transmission mode of hydraulic single gypsy anchor windlass is that the hydraulic motor drives the chain wheel shaft through the starting gear, and a reliable brake should be installed between the sprocket and the transmission shaft. After the brake is tightened, it should be able to withstand a static tensile force of 45% of the breaking load of the anchor chain or the maximum static load on the anchor chain. The stressed parts should not have permanent deformation, and the braking device should not slip. The brake should be easily and reliably operated. The hydraulic windlass is widely used on modern large and medium-sized ships and is suitable for anchor chains with diameters of 16mm-120mm.
