Marine Electric Mooring Capstan
A marine electric mooring capstan is a shipboard deck equipment that uses a rotating drum to wrap cable or cables to moor a ship , and it can also lift or pull heavy objects. Electric mooring capstans are also usually used for boat anchoring equipped with a gypsy wheel. The operation of marine electric mooring capstan shall be in accordance with the instructions and standards for the operation of Marine equipment and shall ensure that the safety device is not damaged before operation. Thus, regular maintenance and lubrication of working units is necessary.
