Marine Electric Anchor Capstan

Marine Electric Anchor Capstan

A marine electric anchor capstan is a multi-purpose deck machinery on ships and vessels for anchoring as well as mooring. It can be constructed to be vertical or horizontal to the deck, but the capstan head should be upright. Its quiet compact transmission, easy alignment and two mounting options make them particularly user-friendly.

Overview

The marine electric anchor capstan can built in small size and different configurations  to produce a large pulling force, and is designed to handle moorings in the deepest waters. Its simple construction and obvious control systems are suitable for any operators. In view of its relatively high loads, the capstan have to be tightly integrated into the structure of the vessel so it is tailored to the specific vessel and its operations. It has been strictly tested under the inspection of surveyor in our factories up to and in excess of the maximum pulling and brake-holding force.
