Marine Doubling Plate
A marine doubling plate is a reinforced steel plate welded to the deck or structure of a ship where container lashing equipment, such as twist locks or lashing rods, is attached. The purpose of the doubling plate is to provide extra strength and support to these high-stress areas, preventing damage to the deck and ensuring the secure and stable transport of containers, especially in rough sea conditions.
