Marine Circular Fire Damper
Marine circular fire damper is usually installed in the cabin ventilation ducts or cooling ducts, etc. It can quickly close the ventilation ducts or cooling ducts to effectively prevent the fire from spreading to a wider area. The principle of operation is to utilize the airflow generated when the ship is traveling at high speed to pass through the channel of the fire damper, so as to exhaust the smoke, flame and heat in the cabin.
Overview
Standard:
In order to facilitate the crew to know the fire protection level of the equipment, the standard for marine fire dampers stipulates that the fire protection level must be marked clearly and distinctly at the installation location.
The standard of marine fire damper also stipulates that the wind resistance coefficient must be marked on the equipment so as to facilitate the use and maintenance of the equipment.
The design and installation of marine fire dampers should be based on the different sizes and uses of ships, and the installation of the equipment must comply with the relevant design, manufacturing and navigation standards.
The use of marine fire dampers should comply with the relevant operation regulations and safety standards, and should be inspected and maintained before use.
