Marine Ball Valve
Marine ball valves are common fluid control device, usually used in piping systems, used to regulate the flow and pressure for water, gas, oil, steam and other fluid media.
Marine ball valves consist of valve body, valve cover, ball, stem, packing and other parts. The ball can be rotated with the rotation of the valve stem, so as to achieve the purpose of cutting off or circulating media.
Overview
Common installation position:
1. Upper reaches of pipeline: marine ball valves are installed in the upper reaches of pipeline to better control the flow and pressure of liquid or gas at the inlet of pipeline, common application scenarios include water treatment, water supply and fire fighting facilities.
2. Pipeline downstream: marine ball valves are installed in the downstream of the pipeline, mainly play a role in stopping or controlling the flow, preventing fluid reflux damage to pipelines and equipment. Common application scenarios include vacuum pump exhaust piping, water pump inlet and outlet, gas piping and so on.
3. Side installation: marine ball valves are installed on the side of the pipeline, mainly used to control and regulate the lateral flow of the pipeline, common application scenarios include branch pipelines in the transmission pipeline, flow meters and regulating valves.
