Overview

Main Properties

The main properties of magnesium ribbon sacrificial anode include good anticorrosion performance, no need for external DC power supply, automatic operation after installation, no maintenance, small footprint, low engineering cost and no interference with the external environment. In addition, it also has the characteristics of small specific gravity, negative potential, high driving voltage for iron, but low current efficiency.

Pratical Application

In practical application, magnesium ribbon sacrificial anode is especially suitable for coiled protected body, narrow construction space surface, and high resistivity soil, fresh water and other media. However, it should be noted that in the brackish or salt water environment, the use temperature should preferably not exceed 30℃, and should not exceed 45℃ in the fresh water environment, because it is not suitable for use in seawater, which will accelerate its corrosion rate and shorten its service life.
