ISO 13728 Panama Chocks are essential components of a vessel's mooring system, providing secure guiding and support for mooring ropes during docking and anchoring operations.The standard specifies the materials suitable for constructing Panama Chocks, taking into account factors such as corrosion resistance, durability.
Our chock uses cast steel material with a yield point of not less than 235 N/mm2 or equivalent strength. Considering weldability, the carbon content of steel castings must not exceed 0.23%. The foundation and welding connections to the hull shall be guaranteed reliable transmission of the maximum loading of the Panama chocks to hull construction without any plastic deformation or cracks.
