Insulated Immersion Suit
An Insulated Immersion Suit typically consists of a full-body suit with built-in insulation, often made of materials like CR neoprene or Terylene textile+TPU, that helps retain body heat and prevent hypothermia. These suits are commonly used by marine personnel, offshore workers, and in search and rescue operations where exposure to cold water is a risk. They are designed to be buoyant, providing additional safety by helping the wearer stay afloat in water.
