Inner River Echo Sounder
Our inner river echo sounder is a dual-channel (200kHz & 200kHz) inland river depth sounder with a high-sensitivity receiver, advanced detection software and a 7-inch (480 x 234 pixels) high-resolution color TFT LCD screen. It has a modern streamlined design, is easy to operate, and has excellent performance. It is suitable for ship navigation and depth sounding. The gain of the dual channels of this instrument can be adjusted independently, which is suitable for the use conditions where the signals of the two transducers at the front and rear of the ship are unbalanced. The automatic range can also select the channel with stable tracking measurement, which can measure and display the underwater topography, underwater depth, and object shape in real time, accurately and stably.
Overview
Working principle
The acoustic velocity is 340m/s in the air and 1,500m/s in the water. The acoustic time is one second during the round-trip distance of the underwater 750m. So, the target depth can be calculated by measuring the round-trip time of acoustic wave .
Due to ultrasonic frequency is higher than that of the sound waves by human-ear hearing, ultrasonic is suitable for underwater detection. The ultrasonic transducer of the sounder can launch and receives the ultrasonic wave. Through recording, the underwater target is displayed on the LCD screen and the water depth is calculated for display.
