Fire separation class

A fire protection door is a door with fire resistant equipment arranged on a fire resistant bulkhead. It has equivalent fire resistance separation with the bulkhead at the installation site. According to its fire resistance, the marine construction code is divided into Class A, Class B and Class C doors. Class A fire door has the highest fire resistance and Class C is the lowest. The fire protection door in the corridor is also required to be self-closed, and when the ambient temperature of the fire exceeds 90 ° C, it can be automatically closed to prevent the spread of the fire.

Material type

Fire protection doors are usually made of metal materials (steel, aluminum alloy), and Class B and Class C door panels are also made of low-flame plastic panels. Advanced fire protection door with ceramic wool, rock wool, calcium silicate board and other non-combustible materials as the core material, in order to achieve the corresponding fire resistance grade.
