Fiberglass Wool vs. Rock Wool
Thermal Performance: Fiberglass wool has a lower thermal conductivity (0.042 W/(m·K)) than rock wool (0.045 W/(m·K)).
Fire Resistance: Both are Class A, but fiberglass wool is lighter and easier to handle.
Cost: Fiberglass wool is generally 10-15% more expensive than rock wool but offers better long-term performance.
Fiberglass Wool vs. Foam:
Durability: Fiberglass wool is more resistant to compression and moisture than foam.
Installation: Fiberglass wool can be cut and fitted more easily than foam boards.
Features
It has excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties and can effectively reduce heat conduction and sound transmission. Fiberglass wool is lightweight, soft and easy to install, and is suitable for insulating walls, roofs and floors. In addition, fiberglass wool has fireproof performance, corrosion resistance and anti-aging performance, which can maintain the insulation effect for a long time. It is an environmentally friendly material, does not contain harmful substances, does not release harmful gases, and is harmless to the human body and the environment.
Fiberglass wool is available in rolls, sheets and bulk to meet different insulation needs.
Process
Glass fiber spraying cotton and special spraying adhesive are sprayed at high speed by special equipment, fully mixed at the nozzle port, and uniformly sprayed on the surface of the substrate with a certain pressure, thus forming a closed and seamless heat insulation and sound absorption layer. The surface is smooth, the fiber distribution is uniform, and there is no delamination, holes, cracks and other defects that affect the use.
