Electronic Ball Valve


Electronic Ball Valve is composed of electric actuator and ball valve. Is an automated process control of a pipeline pressure components, usually used for pipeline media remote connection, cut off the control of the media. Electric ball valve is driven by the valve stem, and around the axis of the valve stem for rotary motion of the valve. Mainly used to cut off or connect the pipeline medium, can also be used for fluid regulation and control. Electric ball valves are suitable for air, steam, water, corrosive and weak acidic and alkaline media.

Notation:

Electronic ball valve actuators have special requirements, i.e. they must be able to limit the torque (axial force) as well as the angle of rotation. When the specifications of a motorized device are determined, its control torque is also determined. Generally, the motor will not be overloaded if it is operated for a predetermined period of time. However, overloading may occur in the following cases

1. The motor stops rotating because the required torque is not available due to low power supply voltage.

2. The torque limiting mechanism is incorrectly set so that it is greater than the stopping torque, resulting in continuous generation of excessive torque and stopping the motor.

3. Intermittent use of the motor, the heat generated by the accumulation of more than the permissible temperature rise value of the motor.

4. The torque limiting mechanism circuit fails for some reason, resulting in excessive torque.

5. The temperature of the environment is too high, which decreases the thermal capacity of the motor.

Suggestion:

1. The ambient temperature should be controlled within -25-70.

2. Several situations should choose explosion-proof electric ball valves, unstable current, environmental corrosion, flammable and explosive occasions, special media, no maintenance for a long time.

3. Due to the complexity of the electric mechanism, when there is a failure should not be disassembled to prevent accidents.

4. Under no circumstances should not be knocking on the electric ball valve or put the items together.
