Elastic Sealing Ring

Elastic Sealing Ring

Elastic sealing ring, which is usually made of materials with good elasticity and insulation, such as EPDM, has good heat resistance, ozone resistance, aging resistance, and good elasticity, insulation and low temperature resistance.

Overview

Installation precautions:

1)Choose appropriate card sleeves and sealing rings to ensure that their materials and specifications meet the design requirements and meet the requirements of the usage environment. ‌

2)Before installation, the end of the pipeline and the inside of the sleeve should be cleaned to ensure that the connection surface is smooth, free of impurities, and not damaged or deformed. ‌

3)When tightening the nut, gradually increase the force to ensure a tight connection and even compression of the sealing ring. ‌

4)During use, the connection status and sealing performance of the card sleeve joint should be regularly checked, and aging or damaged components should be replaced in a timely manner. ‌

5)The installation steps may vary depending on the specific product, so in actual operation, follow the instructions. ‌

6)For the installation of sleeve type joints, especially when using precision seamless steel pipes, special attention should be paid to the treatment of the steel pipes, including vertical sawing, mild deburring of the inner and outer surfaces of the ports, and specific requirements for bent pipes. ‌

7)During the pre-installation process, it is recommended to apply a small amount of grease on the threads of the nut, the threads and cone surfaces of the pre-installed joint body, and the sleeve to facilitate installation and lubrication. ‌

8)During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the connection parts are clean, the pipe mouth is polished flat, without any burrs or bumps, and the embedded part of the sleeve joint is not bent to avoid air leakage. ‌

9)When connecting, it is best to use a sleeve joint made of the same material as the pipeline to prevent air leakage. ‌
