Dredging Floater
A dredging floater is a buoyant device used to support and float a dredging pipeline or hose on the surface of the water. It helps to keep the dredging equipment and pipeline afloat and properly positioned during the dredging process. Dredging floaters come in various sizes and shapes, and can be made from materials such as plastic, polyethylene, or steel. They are an essential component of dredging operations in shallow water bodies or marine environments.
Overview
The Dredging floater is usually made of wear-resistant MDPE by rotary forming technology. The float consists of two MDPE housings filled with PU foam and connected by galvanized bolts, nuts and washers. When installing a floater, it is necessary to determine its location first, usually choosing an area where the water depth is shallow and needs to be marked. Some dredging floaters may have a flexible design to allow for easy installation and adjustment to different water depths and profiles.
