Differences between CD1 electric hoist and MD1 electric hoist

Although CD1 electric hoist and MD1 electric hoist are electric wire rope hoists, there are some differences between them.

Overview

CD1 electric hoist has only one drum, so it has one lifting speed (normal speed) which varies from load to load (usually 8 m/min).

MD1 electric hoist has two speeds, normal speed and low speed(about 0.8 m/min), they are offered by two motors, the main motor and the auxiliary motor.

Working principle of MD1 electric hoist

When the main motor is powered on, the motor rotor overcomes the pressure of the brake spring, causing axial displacement. This separates the brake wheel from the slow-speed mechanism, allowing the main motor to operate normally, and the mechanism to move up or down at a uniform speed. After power-off, the brake wheel of the main motor reconnects with the slow-speed mechanism under the action of the brake spring. When the auxiliary motor is powered on, the shaft of the auxiliary motor also undergoes axial displacement, and the auxiliary motor's brake opens. The deceleration gear drives the brake wheel of the main motor, causing both motors to rotate together, and the mechanism to move slowly up or down.

Advice

  1. In coarse processing or situations requiring high efficiency in initial processing stages, choosing a CD1 electric hoist can increase production efficiency and reduce equipment costs.

  2. In some tightly controlled processing tasks, the primary goal is to prevent parts from colliding during handling due to excessive speed or to ensure safe lifting and movement. In such cases, a MD1 dual-speed hoist is used. When operating, it's possible to start with normal speed lifting and then switch to slow speed near the designated location. This allows for precise positioning and is very convenient to use.
