Components of the cabin ventilation system
Ventilation of the ship is a measure to improve the labor conditions of the crew and to provide a comfortable and hygienic living environment for the crew and passengers, and it is also an effective measure to maintain the normal operation of the machinery and equipment, especially to provide sufficient oxygen for the combustion equipment in the engine room.
Marine ventilation system mainly consists of fans, ventilators, dampers, air grills, ventilation pipes and so on. Classification is as follows.
Overview
1. According to the use of points
(1) living, living cabin ventilation, including living cabins, dining rooms, conference rooms, kitchens and bathrooms, toilets and other places.
(2) Furnace cabin and other working compartments ventilation, including the main cabin, auxiliary cabin, boiler room and oil purification machine room and other places.
(3) Cargo hold ventilation.
2. According to the form of ventilation
(1) Natural ventilation. The use of air heat pressure principle, the natural formation of air flow, coupled with the natural wind pressure to promote the flow of air ventilation.
(2) Mechanical ventilation. The use of power-driven ventilators, resulting in air exchange and circulation of the ventilation method.
3. According to the wind speed in the duct or wind pressure points
(1) wind speed of 10m / s for the following low-speed ventilation; 10 ~ 20m / s for the medium-speed ventilation; 20m / s or more for high-speed ventilation.
(2) wind pressure below 392 Pa for low-pressure ventilation; 392 ~ 980 Pa for medium-pressure ventilation; 980 Pa or more for high-pressure ventilation.
