Ceramic fiber board is made of ceramic fiber wool of corresponding grade, inorganic binder and a small amount of organic binder, and is vacuum formed. The temperature resistance level reaches 1800℃. In some equipment, smoke will be emitted when a small amount of organic binder in the product is burned. This is a normal phenomenon and will dissipate quickly.

Overview

Our vacuum-formed ceramic fiber panels are a high-strength, rigid insulation solution designed for applications requiring exceptional thermal stability up to 1800°C. Made from ultrafine ceramic fibers, these panels feature low thermal conductivity, extremely low linear shrinkage, and excellent resistance to thermal shock and chemical attack. Their uniform density and smooth surface make them ideal for manufacturing precision industrial furnace linings, high-temperature gaskets, heat baffles, and as backup insulation in industrial environments such as steel, petrochemical, and ceramic kilns. The panels maintain structural integrity under continuous high-temperature operation, providing reliable energy efficiency and safety.

Technical Specifications

Classification Temperature: Available in multiple grades including 1260°C, 1400°C, and 1600°C.

Long-Term Operating Temperature: Suitable for long-term use in environments ≤ 1800°C.

Bulk Density: Available in standard options such as 280 ± 10 kg/m³ or 320 ± 10 kg/m³, with uniform density.

Thermal Conductivity: At 800°C, thermal conductivity can be as low as 0.12 W/(m·K), providing high insulation efficiency.

Compressive Strength: With 10% deformation, compressive strength ≥ 0.8 MPa, demonstrating excellent mechanical properties.

Linear Shrinkage: After 8 hours of insulation at the highest operating temperature, linear shrinkage ≤ 2%, exhibiting excellent dimensional stability.
