CB/T3265-1994 Liquid Guage Self Closing Valve
Liquid gauge self-closing valves (also known as level gauge shut-off valves) are a key component used in level gauge systems, primarily to control the flow of liquid in the level gauge. They are typically installed in the lower portion of the liquid gauge and are used to control the flow of liquid into or out of the level gauge's measuring instrument or vessel.
Overview
Main Purpose
The purpose of a liquid gauge self-closing valve is to stop the flow of liquid when the level gauge needs to be serviced, calibrated or replaced. When the level gauge requires maintenance, the operator can close the self-closing valve, thereby preventing the continued flow of liquid into or out of the level gauge. This helps to ensure that maintenance is performed on the level gauge safely, while preventing leaks or spills.
