CB T295 Mushroom Ventilation material is made of carbon steel, stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316L, which is suitable for the design, manufacture and acceptance of ventilating cylinders used for installation on the open decks of marine vessels. Generally speaking, ballast water tanks, sewage and fuel oil tanks, etc. use mushroom ventilators. Some other compartments use gooseneck type ventilation.


Overview

CB T295 Specific Requirements:

Ventilation simple surface should be smooth, no sharp edges, twisted, skewed phenomenon.

The internal and external surfaces of the steel parts of the ventilator should be descaled to the level of Sa2 or St2 as stipulated in GB/T 8923, and then coated with two antirust primers.

A,B.C type ventilator should have no water bead or water collapse in the inspected part after water flushing test. The pressure addiction width B of the sealing packing in contact with the air blower should be not less than 0.5t (t is the thickness of the air blower).
