Precautions

Plug valves need to be checked for rated working pressure, no cracks in appearance, and no wear on the sealing surface before use. After inspection and repair or before each use for hydrostatic pressure test. Shall not be used under fluid pressure that exceeds the rated working pressure. Do not tighten with a force that will deform or damage the wing nut. Plug valves with threaded couplings should be tightened to the specified torque and not allowed to exceed the tightening torque. The maximum working temperature of plug valves is 82°C and the minimum temperature is -29°C. Plug valves must not be disassembled while the system is under operating pressure.

Daily maintenance

Plug valves should be rinsed with clean water after each use and blown dry to prevent corrosion. In the valve open state, use a high-pressure grease gun to fill with grease of the specified grade, and open and close the valve several times to evenly distribute the new grease.
