Boat Bilge Blower

The cabin of a ship is a confined space, which usually requires a fan for ventilation and temperature reduction. This results in a smooth ventilation system in the ship's cabin. The function of the blower is to transport the gas (mainly air) to the area that needs ventilation or air conditioning through mechanical process, so as to achieve the purpose of improving the air quality and temperature inside the cabin. Blowers are often installed in cabins, pilothouses, engine compartments and other locations to meet the ventilation and air conditioning needs of different locations.

Overview

Solution and Problem:

1. Excessive blower noise: This may be due to unbalanced operation, deformed impellers or worn blades, etc. The treatment is to rebalance or replace the impellers or blades.

2. Excessive blower vibration: This may be caused by loose or improperly installed equipment, or internal damage to the equipment, and should be dealt with by reinstalling or replacing the damaged parts.

3. Failure of blower motor: it may be due to the damage of motor winding or bearing, or unstable power supply voltage, the treatment method is to replace the damaged parts or repair the power supply voltage stability.

4. Excessive resistance of the blower: it may be due to excessive resistance of the inlet and outlet pipelines, the treatment method is to clean the pipelines or replace the pipelines with less resistance.
